For reconstructing drooping or sagging eyelids
What are the benefits of eyelid (blepharosplasty) surgery?
yelid surgery (technically called blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty can be done alone or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or a brow lift.
An incision is made on the upper eyelid in the natural crease. This may extend into the laughter line (crows feet) area. The excess skin muscle and any fat are trimmed and the incision is closed with fine sutures.
